Aircast AirSelect Short Air Walker Boot
The Aircast AirSelect Short Air Walker Boot from DJO is a pneumatic walking boot engineered for patients recovering from foot and ankle injuries who need dependable support without sacrificing mobility. Its customizable, independent distal air cells use an integrated inflation system, so there's no hand bulb required to achieve an individualized, secure fit. The semi-rigid shell is trimmable and heat-moldable, allowing clinicians to custom-fit the boot around the patient's specific anatomy for lasting comfort.
Designed for everyday wear during rehabilitation, this air walker boot features a low profile rocker sole that promotes a more natural walking gait while reducing forefoot angulation and knee hyperextension. SoftStrike technology cushions each heel strike, helping to dissipate impact energy and minimize heel pain throughout the healing process. The nonmarking, skid-resistant rubber tread adds traction and durability for safe, everyday use indoors and out.
Comfort and compliance are built into every detail. The sleek, open-frame design keeps the leg ventilated while still delivering full protection, and the boot contours around the malleoli to eliminate pressure points. A three-strap system evenly disperses pressure across the leg and helps prevent pooling of edema fluid. This Small size fits women's shoe sizes 5–8 or men's 4–7 and can be worn on either the left or right foot, making it a versatile choice for clinics and home use alike.
