UrgoTul Impregnated Contact Layer Dressing, Sterile
The UrgoTul Impregnated Contact Layer Dressing from URGO Medical is a sterile, non-adherent wound contact layer designed to support the natural healing process while minimizing trauma at dressing changes. Its unique lipido-colloid (TLC) technology allows the mesh to stay soft and pliable against the wound bed, helping fibroblasts migrate, proliferate, and synthesize the extracellular matrix needed to form healthy granulation tissue and draw wound edges together.
Unlike traditional gauze, this contact layer dressing maintains its structural integrity over time and does not dry out or stick to the wound surface. That means clinicians and caregivers can remove and replace it with far less discomfort for the patient, making it a preferred choice for chronic and acute wounds that require frequent dressing changes.
This impregnated contact layer dressing is available in multiple sizes to fit a range of wound types and treatment needs, and is intended to be used under a secondary dressing to manage exudate and protect the wound environment. Its sterile packaging ensures a clean, ready-to-use product for every application.
UrgoTul is suitable for use on a variety of wound types, including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, donor sites, and surgical wounds, wherever a gentle, low-adherence primary layer is needed to promote optimal healing conditions.
