The Med-Pat D520U brings landline calls and device charging together on your desk or bedside table. USB-A and USB-C ports give you two familiar charging connections, while an oversized lighted keypad, adjustable handset volume, and a bright ring indicator make everyday calls easier to manage.

- Adjust the sound to suit you. Use the thumbwheel volume control and Volume Plus™ button to increase handset volume. Built-in CLEARING AID® circuitry adjusts frequency response to help improve speech clarity.
- Find the keys more easily. Oversized, lighted keys and a Braille locator on the 5 key help you locate the numbers.
- See incoming calls. A bright ring indicator adds a visual cue alongside the adjustable three-level ringer.
- Charge a compatible device nearby. Connect a suitable charging cable to the built-in USB-A or USB-C port.
- Keep the base steady. The heavy, non-slip base and durable ABS cabinet suit a desk, nightstand, or shared calling area.
What to know before you buy
- Phone connection: Analog landline telephone. For service supplied through a modem or VoIP adapter, confirm that your provider offers a compatible analog telephone connection.
- Charging power: AC power adapter included; connect it to power the USB charging ports. Device charging cables are sold separately.
- Hearing aid compatibility: Hearing aid compatible (HAC).
- Calling features: Flash button and ring/message-waiting indicator. Message-waiting operation depends on your telephone system.
- Colors: Black or Cream.
Choose a charging cable
The optional 3-in-1 Braided Charging Cable has Lightning, USB-C, and Micro-USB device connectors. Choose USB-A input for the D520U’s rectangular USB-A port or USB-C input for its oval USB-C port. Match the device connector to your phone or tablet.
Frequently asked questions
Is the D520U a landline phone or a cell phone?
It is a corded analog landline phone. The USB ports charge compatible devices; they do not turn the D520U into a cellular phone or provide its telephone service.
Does it have a speakerphone or Caller ID?
No. The D520U is designed for handset calling and does not include a speakerphone or Caller ID display.
Is a charging cable included?
No. Device charging cables are sold separately. The included AC adapter powers the USB charging ports.
Can I mount it on a wall?
Yes. Use the compatible BD-1 wall mount bracket, sold separately. Choose Black or Cream to match your phone.
Can I adjust both the handset volume and the ringer?
Yes. The handset has a thumbwheel volume control and Volume Plus™ button. The ringer has three levels of control.
