- Get helpful measurement alerts. Cuff-wrap and body-movement indicators can flag issues during a check. An irregular-heartbeat indicator can appear when an irregular rhythm is detected during measurement.
- Choose how to power it. Use four AAA batteries or USB-C power. USB-C supplies power to the monitor; it does not make the batteries rechargeable.

Is this a rechargeable monitor?
The BP-R operates on four AAA batteries or USB-C power. Connecting the USB cable powers the monitor; it does not recharge the AAA batteries.
What does the irregular-heartbeat indicator mean?
It means the monitor detected an irregular rhythm during that measurement. The indicator does not diagnose a heart condition. Discuss repeated alerts or concerns with your healthcare professional.
Does it measure blood pressure and pulse?
Yes. The BP-R displays systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate. It does not measure blood oxygen saturation.
