The Mepitel One Wound Contact Layer Dressing is a sterile, non-adherent primary dressing designed to protect delicate new tissue while allowing wound healing to progress undisturbed. Its one-sided wound contact layer lets clinicians and caregivers monitor the wound bed without removing the dressing, reducing pain and trauma at dressing changes.

Built with Mölnlycke's Safetac adhesive technology, this dressing adheres gently to intact skin surrounding the wound without sticking to the moist wound bed itself. The open mesh structure allows exudate to pass freely through into a secondary absorbent dressing, while also permitting the delivery of topical treatments directly to the wound. Because the secondary dressing can be changed independently, the wound contact layer can often remain in place for up to 14 days, supporting truly undisturbed healing.
