This Hollister FlexWear two-piece skin barrier is the adhesive wafer base of a two-piece ostomy system, featuring the trusted FlexWear skin barrier and an exclusive floating flange. It is designed for anyone who wants a secure, comfortable foundation for their ostomy management, including those with tender or post-operative abdomens who need a gentler coupling.
The floating flange flexes independently of your skin, so you can attach a matching FlexWear pouch without pressing down on the stoma or your abdomen. A patented locking system audibly clicks into place for confident, leak-resistant security, while the standard-wear FlexWear barrier protects peristomal skin from corrosive drainage. Because it is a two-piece design, you can remove or change the pouch throughout the day without disturbing the barrier, giving your skin a break and extending comfortable wear.
This wafer has a flat shape and a 70 mm (2¾-inch) blue color-matched flange. The cut-to-fit barrier lets you trim the opening to match irregular, oval, or changing stomas for a personalized fit.
