Darco APB All Purpose Post-Op Boot, Small
The Darco APB All Purpose Post-Op Boot is designed to support patients recovering from foot surgery, fractures, or other injuries requiring off-loading and protection. This Small size fits women's shoe sizes 6–7.5 or men's shoe sizes 5–6.5, offering a secure, unisex black design suitable for everyday post-operative use.
Built with a relaxed rocker sole, the boot reduces plantar pressure under the forefoot and heel by more than 25%, helping to ease discomfort during the healing process. The square-toe design acts as a protective bumper for the toes, particularly useful when K-wires are present, while also improving the left/right fit for added comfort and stability.
An adjustable ankle strap keeps the foot firmly seated to minimize heel slippage and friction, and the removable forefoot closure allows for a secure fit without buckle pressure. The zoned outsole features aggressive tread under the mid-foot for added traction where it's needed most, while a metatarsal shank under the MP joints provides extra rigidity and support.
The removable insole is compatible with Darco's Peg Assist (PQ Series) customizable off-loading system, and offers twice the padding of standard insoles for enhanced comfort during recovery. This post-op boot is a practical solution for patients seeking dependable support and protection while healing.
