The ConvaTec Sur-Fit Natura Skin Barrier is the adhesive wafer base of a dependable two-piece ostomy system, featuring the trusted Durahesive extended-wear skin barrier. Built with a sturdy 57 mm (2¼ inch) plastic coupling ring, it is designed for people whose stoma output is mostly liquid and who want secure, skin-friendly protection between changes. This is a skin barrier (wafer/flange) only\u2014your pouch is chosen and ordered separately.
The Durahesive barrier is formulated to swell or \"turtleneck\" gently around your stoma, hugging the base to further protect the stoma and surrounding peristomal skin from erosive liquid output. Its extended-wear construction resists breakdown for longer, more confident wear time. The rigid coupling ring lets a matching Sur-Fit Natura pouch snap on with an audible click, so you can remove or change the pouch without disturbing the barrier or irritating your skin.
This is a flat, cut-to-fit barrier, ideal for stomas that protrude normally and for irregular, oval, or changing stoma shapes\u2014simply trim the opening to match your stoma.
