The ConvaTec ConvaFoam Border Foam Dressing is a sterile, square-shaped foam dressing designed for the management of moderately to heavily exuding wounds. Its gentle silicone adhesive border allows for secure yet atraumatic fixation, minimizing pain and skin trauma during dressing changes while maintaining a reliable seal around the wound edges.

At the core of this dressing is a soft, multi-layered absorbent pad combining superabsorbent fibers, polyurethane foam, and Hydrofiber™ (sodium carboxymethylcellulose) technology. This unique combination allows the pad to micro-contour and adapt to the natural shape of the wound bed, unlike traditional flat foam dressings, helping to lock in exudate and reduce the risk of leakage or maceration of surrounding skin.

The film backing features a patterned design that allows clinicians and caregivers to monitor exudate levels without fully removing the dressing, supporting timely dressing changes and better wound assessment. The dressing can also be trimmed to help with application in difficult-to-dress areas, offering added versatility for a range of wound sites.
