The Coloplast Comfeel Plus Hydrocolloid Dressing is designed to seal, protect, and support healing for low to moderately exuding wounds. Featuring a durable film backing and a moisture-absorbing hydrocolloid core, this 4 x 4 inch dressing helps maintain a stable wound environment while shielding the area from outside bacteria and moisture.

Formulated with sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) particles encapsulated in a flexible adhesive matrix, the dressing absorbs excess exudate while calcium alginate boosts absorption capacity for wounds that require extra fluid management. This makes it suitable for leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, superficial burns, superficial partial-thickness burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, and skin abrasions.

The semi-permeable polyurethane top film allows controlled evaporation based on exudate levels while keeping water and contaminants out, supporting a moist wound-healing environment. Depending on wound characteristics, this hydrocolloid dressing can remain in place for up to seven days, reducing the frequency of dressing changes and minimizing disruption to healing tissue.
