UrgoTul is a sterile, non-adherent contact layer dressing designed to sit directly against the wound bed and support the natural healing process. It's ideal for a wide range of acute and chronic wounds, including skin tears, leg ulcers, pressure injuries, and post-surgical or superficial wounds where a gentle, atraumatic interface is needed. Made with URGO Medical's signature lipido-colloid technology, this contact layer creates a soothing, moist environment that helps protect delicate new tissue.

When placed on the wound, UrgoTul supports an environment in which fibroblasts can migrate, proliferate, and synthesize the extracellular matrix to form healthy granulation tissue and help bring the wound edges together. Because the dressing keeps its integrity over time and does not dry out or stick to the wound, dressing changes stay atraumatic and pain-free, reducing disruption to the healing tissue and improving day-to-day comfort. It can be used together with a secondary absorbent dressing to manage exudate as needed.
