When you are shopping for better adult incontinence protection, try our reusable, body-shaped, cloth pads from Gary®. They are designed to support heavy urinary incontinence with 8-ply, highly absorbent, cotton soakers --a good choice. Designed for heavier duty bladder protection, this design of cotton flannel insert pad will give you better control over your incontinence. Shaped to conform to the contours of your body, they will give you a closer and more effective fit. The 8 layers of absorbent flannel cotton material (most other makes have only 3-4 layers) will wick away moisture while letting your skin breathe freely. These are especially great for the incontinence sufferer with health issues such as sensitive skin and allergies to the chemicals in disposable pads found in most drug stores.

Our cloth incontinence pads are also designed to be worn inside another absorbent undergarment to increase absorbent capacity and minimize the need for frequent changes by providing extra capacity when used as diaper doublers / soakers. The flow-through cotton layers allow the pad to fill to capacity and then pass fluids to the user's protective diaper (reusable as well as disposable), thereby preventing leaks from the leg openings. These booster pads are great for heavy-wetting, overnight, or long trips. With these diaper doublers, you have the added absorbency of another diaper, but without the extra bulk.

To use, just lay this incontinence pad inside of an incontinence undergarment such as Netti SuperSoft, our Gary Flat Pre-Folded Cloth Diaper, or Gary Pull-On Cloth Diaper. These pads also can be used inside plastic pants for light incontinence. As with all Gary® quality flannel products, our insert pads are easy to care for and will tolerate many types of washing.

These insert pads are made only for adults and larger youths. They are available in white only.

Note: This reusable cloth incontinence pad does not have waterproof backing. This type of pad must be used with waterproof PUL pants or plastic pants. We recommend pre-washing the absorbent inserts at least one to two times before use, to make the flannel "fluff up" which will greatly enhance the performance of the pads.

Washing Instructions:

New incontinence cloth insert pads should be pre-washed and dried before use in order to maximize absorbency and softness.  Use a biodegradable, non-phosphate detergent, or a vegetable based soap. Do not use fabric softeners. They lessen the absorbency of the cotton cloth and can cause an allergic reaction in people with sensitive skin.
